Christmas is one and only or one of the much important Christian and religious holidays of the year, but what is the true meaning of Christmas? For Christians, the right meaning of Christmas is a celebration of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

When fall has a way to winter and snow covers the ground while dancing the light from house to house, Christmas is coming. you can look at Decorated Christmas trees everywhere. Presents a crowd for space under the tree and families comes together for a turkey feast. Christmas is the much interesting Christian and religious holiday of the year, but what is the true meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts? Is it the annual economic boost?

The season of Christmas, especially the West Side, is a mix of Pre-Christian, Christian, and secular culture. What’s interesting is the etymology of the word Christmas. It means Christian Mass. A shortened form of Christ’s Mass.

Christmas is a time of religious reflection on important foundations of Christian Belief. It’s also a celebration. when Christians celebrate God’s love for the world through the birth of Christ's child: Jesus. The Bible said the birth hundreds of years before, fulfilling prophecies.

The story of Christmas in the Bible

The story of Christmas is recorded in Luke 2:4-19.

"Joseph went from the city of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem is the city of David, because he belonged to the house or the line of David. He goes there to certify with Mary, who were pledged to be related to him and was expecting a child. While they was, the time came for the baby to born, and she is giving birth to her firstborn, a boy. And wrapped in clothes and placed in a manger because there were no room for them in the inn.

An angel of God appeared to them, and the glory of God shone around them, and they were frightened. But the angel asked them, ‘Don't be afraid. They bring you better news of good joy that shall be for all over the people. At that time in the city of David, a Savior has developed to you; this is Christ of the Lord. He shall be a certified to you: You shall find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby boy, who was lying in the manger. But Mary treasured up all these items and pondered them in her heart."

Right Meaning of Christmas: Celebrating Savior

Jesus is born to pay the price of things we are done wrong: sin. God sent his only son to be the adapt for all our sins so that we would not be separated from God. Without Jesus, we should all die for our sins. We genetic our sinful nature from the first human beings God created, Adam and Eve. While fully God and yet fully man, Jesus came into the world as an infant to save us all.

Most Christmas traditions vary in important and characterized meaning. For example, we exchange gifts or things because God sent us the most highly valued gift: only his Son. Also, 3 Wise men visit Jesus and give gifts as well. A poem titled A Visit of St. Nicholas in 1822 A.D popularize the activity of distribution of gifts too.

Although people worldwide celebrate Christ’s birth on December 25th, it is likely that he was born on a different month and date. Church in the 4th century chose December 25th as it coordinates with the Solstice on Roman Calendar.
